About us

Dawn & Glyn Davies

We are small caring breeders. All our cats and kittens are brought up within the family home.  Breeding for type and temperament.

We live in the Hertfordshire countryside and have been owned by our Ragdolls for nine years.

We first saw the Ragdolls at the Supreme Cat Show in 1994 and we were just taken aback by their beauty but at that point we had no plans to own one.

We were so impressed by the cat show and the cats that we decided to show our household pet Misty as she was so very pretty. Misty did well at her shows but did not enjoy her days out.

It was at these shows we met someone that was to play a big part in our future with ragdolls.  A successful breeder of ragdolls, she asked us if we would like to go and visit her and her raggies.

It was quite a few weeks before we weakened and went to see our first ragdoll household.  There we met a blue female colour point that she said would make a nice show cat.  So after many weeks of thinking about owning and showing a ragdoll, we made the phone call to say "Yes bring her to us".

So that is how we became besotted with these wonderful cats, and of course more soon followed our dear girl Lylia.  We could not help ourselves.

The garden was quickly taken over to accommodate the cats.  All the pens are built so that the cats may come and go freely with free access into the house.  They are all very much part of our family.

We have shown ragdoll cats now for over 8 years, with great success and get a real buzz showing off our cats.

It was suggested last year because of our success at shows, that may be we should breed!  With the kind help of our dear friend Sharon Terry of Sonnywood Ragdolls, our first breeding girl arrived in 2002, Sonnywood Nutmeg, shortly followed by our second in November 2003 Dreamcats Madonna.

Our main aim is to breed wonderful ragdolls to be loved and cared for the same as we do.

Many thanks to two very special people who have been a great inspiration to us, Kathy Edwards-Rebbitt and Sharon Terry.  We only hope we can do you proud.
